Brown Dog Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on advocating or providing services for animals. It is based in Carlsbad, CA. It received its nonprofit status in 2007.

We are a northern breed rescue that provides services to those within a 100 mile radius of our suburban Philadelphia office. Our mission not only includes rescue and adoption but public education, and support to our overwhelmed local shelter system.
